Protector Policies Ltd was established in 1921 with a vision to arrange quality insurance solely for London Taxi drivers. Back in those days it was a risky market to be in and insurance companies were always very cautious about providing cover for cabs. Protector has remained in the same premises in the famous Red Lion Square in the heart of London since its formation and still remains a market leader in insuring London Black Cabs.
